Job Description

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide speech and language therapy, voice therapy, and swallowing rehabilitation across inpatient, outpatient, or home care settings.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, physical and occupational therapists, psychologists, nurses, and other members of the rehab team.
• Educate patients and families on communication techniques and strategies for daily living.
• Document evaluation results, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with medical and regulatory standards.
• Proper aftercare should be observed after treatment of every patient. All equipment used should be returned to their proper places. Failure to perform aftercare procedures will be dealt with accordingly.
