Radiologic Technologist
Job Description
- Performs all radiographic procedures as requested by the attending physician.
- Assist radiologists during interpretation and in the performance of radiographic procedures.
- Assist attending physician during initial viewing of the film.
- Assist another physician in the procedures that require the use of department equipment.
- Prepares all radiographic images for proper interpretation.
- Received and processed patient request
- Give oral and written instructions to patients that will undergo special procedures.
- Sort and release official radiographic results to the patient.
- Forward official results to the respective nurse’s station.
- Performs theater and mobile radiography.
- Files radiographic images and corresponding results in the filing room.
- Keep records of borrowed and released images.
- Perform daily routine checkups of the apparatus in the department.
- Forwarding of charge slips, copy of HMO request, and LOA to the respective department.
Qualifications
- A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technologist
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist
- Preferably at least months or one year in General Radiologic Procedure
- Knowledgeable in MS Office and Data Gathering
