Occupational Therapist
Job Description
- The PT/OT staff should have mastery of the patient’s chart at all times and review the chart prior to treatment and/or evaluation to avoid patient mismanagement.
- A professional attitude must be exhibited at all times. Rapport with the patient should not be confused with over familiarity.
- The PT/OT staff should ensure that all pieces of equipment to be used are working before treatment is started.
- Adequate supervision should be given to the patient during treatment, and proper precautions should always be observed to ensure patient safety.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
- Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist
- With or without work experience.
- Empathy, patience, and adaptability in diverse clinical situations.
- Has a good communication and interpersonal skills
