7 November 2024 – Metro Pacific Health Corporation (MPH) today announced the completion of its investment in City of General Trias Doctors Medical Center Inc. (Gentri Docs), further expanding its network anew to now 27 hospitals.

Under the visionary leadership of its Chairman, Manuel V. Pangilinan, MPH has continuously sought to enhance healthcare accessibility and excellence in the country, a journey that started 17 years ago with its first investment in Makati Medical Center.

The newly acquired hospital is strategically located along Governor’s Drive in General Trias, at the crossroads of the 5 most densely populated cities of Cavite. In addition, it is just 2km away from the CALAX Governor’s Drive toll exit expected to open in the 1st quarter of 2025, presenting an exceptional opportunity to increase its vehicular access from more cities in Cavite.

As in its other investments, MPH has studied and laid out ambitious plans for this hospital to unlock its full potential. Moreover, by sharing best practices from its vast nationwide network, MPH aims to enhance operational efficiencies and patient care standards, ensuring that the patient community receives the highest quality services.

MPH now has 11 hospitals in the National Capital Region, the latest of which is its investment in Diliman Doctors Hospital last month, 8 hospitals in North and South Luzon, 2 in the Visayas and 6 in Mindanao. Some of the premier hospital names in the MPH portfolio include Makati Medical Center, Asian Hospital, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Davao Doctors Hospital, and Riverside Medical Center Bacolod. The 27 hospitals enable approximately 4,400 beds, 11,000 doctors and 16,000 healthcare staff to take good care of 4.2 million patients a year.
