Physical Therapist
FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shifting hours are 7:00 AM– 4:00 PM & 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
- No patient shall be treated without a complete chart with referral/documents.
- PT staff must review and be familiar with the patient’s chart before treatment. Concerns must be referred to the Physiatrist immediately. When in doubt, consult a physician.
- Patients must be treated with respect and professionalism. Any harassment incidents must be reported to Security and the Physiatrist.
- All equipment must be checked before use. Malfunctions should be reported immediately.
- Patients must be properly supervised at all times. Any untoward incident must be reported immediately, with a signed incident report submitted.
- All patient information is confidential. Medical inquiries must be referred to the Physiatrist. Patients are not allowed to read their charts.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Physical Therapy
- Licensed Physical Therapist
- With or without work experience.
- Has a good communication and interpersonal skills
