Job Description

• The PT/OT staff should have mastery of the patient’s chart at all times and review the chart prior to treatment and/or evaluation to avoid patient mismanagement.
• A professional attitude must be exhibited at all times. Rapport with the patient should not be confused with over familiarity.
• The PT/OT staff should ensure that all pieces of equipment to be used are working before treatment is started.
• Adequate supervision should be given to the patient during treatment, and proper precautions should always be observed to ensure patient safety.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
• Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
